Trinity Lake is a great place to fish, boat, or camp.  View the bald eagles and osprey along the shore.  Native rainbow trout, brown trout, kokanee salmon, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and catfish are caught all over the lake. 

Lewiston Lake is a year-round fishing spot full of native, brown, and rainbow trout.  With a 10 mph speed limit, it is a great spot for canoes and kayaks.  

 Founded in 1850,  Weaverville is a historic California Gold Rush town.   Visit the Jake Jackson Museum, the Highland Art Gallery, and the historic Joss House. Or, meander the quaint streets lined with eateries and shopping destinations.
